1. I've got to hand it to 'em--it's not like they aren't being given an opportunity to
fully express themselves!

Whoever comes through this mess will be well-seasoned in the art of the Presidential Debate at the end of the day, assuming a few of them drop out to make the field a little more manageable and provide more "small group dynamics" debate time.

The main problem with them, though, is that they're all batshit crazy. They don't have anyone in the field who is remotely sane.

Seems like it is more a weekly free publicity show/series.

3. CNN is the first and only station to show the Tea party response to the SoTU address.
They were very proud of it. Wolf Blitzer made a whole stink when people bashed them...particularly Anderson Cooper about the whole Tea Party response. CNN wants to be unbiased news and makes news out of everything. Even legitimizing the tea party---so much so that the Tea Party can be it's own viable party, it has a caucus and it does have a flimsy following---but million/billion dollar backers.
