to warrant this scrutiny.

I wonder if there are any unsolved serial rape cases near his home?

8. Cain
I hope no Black DUers will get insulted by this but I think Cain IS the kind of Black COnservative who may technically be black but wishes he was white.Which Is why he
Is against anything to help minorities and he wants to get with white woman.

He Is pure scum In my book.I wonder If any conservatives who blasted Clinton over the Paula Jones Incident(which even If true doesn't raise to sexual harrasment) will
continue to support Cain.

9. Sorry, if true, Paula Jones EASILY passes the threshhold of sexual harrassment
Her claim was that he exposed himself and requested from her what he got from Monica. There are reasons to like Clinton, but in the area of his treatment of women, he was very flawed.

14. You Have The Brodderick, Willey, Jones, And Flowers Allegations
Edited on Wed Nov-09-11 12:13 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I believe parts of all the allegations but certainly not all of the parts of all of all of the allegations. But Herman Cain has held himselp up to a higer standard. He has presented himself as a Christian gentleman, an associate pastor of a church, and one who was called upon by God to run for president.

15. I was reesponding to someone saying that Paula Jones would not be sexual harrassment
In addition to the fact that Clinton did not pretend to be the most moral man in the room, there was really only the Flowers affair when he ran for President in 1992. Then I was disturbed, not that he had had an affair in the past, but that he repeatedly altered his story and lied. It was only because of her tape that he ever admitted "that he had caused pain in his marriage". But, even if you accepted Flowers' full story, he had a LONG consensual affair.

I was more troubled by the Paula Jones' accusations, but her links to the same RW people accusing the Clintons of murduring Vince Foster and sundry other things, it was easy to discount. It was AFTER he was re-elected that there was the Wiley complaint. That, in conjunction with everything else, has led me to think that Clinton very likely has a major flaw here.

The most damning allegation was Brodderick's, but to my knowledge those claims were never made by Brodderick to any jurisdiction or repeated to any respectable media - they are just from the sludge that some in the rw live in. I hope that there was no truth to those allegations.

11. Hermie definitely seems to be a perv...
But, I'm willing to doubt he wants to be white. I hate to dispel a popular wet dream among many that minorities are secretly pining away because they weren't born white. I don't think it's the case with old Herm. That'll be one of the downsides of his and Tiger Woods little escapades. The degradation that they were willing to subject women to is horrific. But, it'll also feed into that meme that all a black man really wants is a white woman.

Tsk, tsk, Hermie. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I would also be willing to bet, there are some African American women in his path of destruction.

But, I think it was a power trip. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I think some men and women(of all persuasions) get in powerful positions and feel they are above the law and have all kinds of power. It's probably addictive. They think they can do whatever they want AND get away with it. You can hear it in the way he talks sometimes. I'm a businessman. I'm a business man, I'm a business man. Gee, Herman. We know. You've told us a hundred times already.

Maybe he has an inferiority complex or something. Reminds me a bit of the guy with the sweep over hairdo. His name escapes me at the moment. Mr..."I've made a lot of money. I've done so many great things." Yada, Yada, Yada.

12. I don't think that poster was saying "all minorities are secretly pining away
because they weren't born white."

I think that poster is saying that Herman Cain and many black conservatives may feel that way. And I would suspect that many black people probably think that about Cain and most black conservatives.

I know many of us damn sure felt/feel that way about Tiger Woods. And he didn't let us down, did he?

13. That darned Tiger...
The poster may not feel that way. And, the poster certainly wasn't trying to offend. But, I do know people who feel this way. Perhaps, there is a word for it. There are people who feel, women in general, would have preferred to have been born men. And, that blacks would have preferred being born white. Now, admittedly, I would be talking about people who live in my general area. It's not a belief shared by all, but it's definitely more prevalent than you would think.

To a certain degree, Herman wouldn't get nearly the attention he does if he were white. And, I believe he loves the attention. There are some minorities who feel a certain sadness if they are one of few to enjoy a certain status. It may be that Herman, on the other hand, likes thinking he's one of few to have "arrived". I think he gets a charge out of thinking he's made it. I think he gets a sense of power and invincibility from it.

I think its a power trip. And, I bet there were some women of color on his hit list. I think Tiger's issue was different. He was always color struck. In a way, maybe our world pushes you into these little boxes. You can revisit some of his earlier interviews when he was suffering such turmoil over having to identify as a black man...verbalizing that to do so would be to disown his mother. Me personally, I didn't think Tiger should have felt forced to check a single box if he didn't want too...but, it seemed to be a particular problem for him. I don't get the same vibes from Herman.

I think in Herman's mind...he thought he had transcended color. Just thinking about Herman gives me a headache, though.

17. And the way he is always referring to himself
in the third person. "Herman Cain" this, "Herman Cain" that. Sounds like a little man trying to appear more important than he is. That could be why he hits on women.

18. Not insulting at all it's seems true that Herman Cain dislikes being
black.
He wants white women and wants to be white.
Teabaggers love self-hating blacks because it serves as a validation for their bigotry.

16. That’s going to make him real popular with the Good-old-Boys.
Herman Cain is going to find out soon the real difference between “their” Blacks and “our” Blacks, and that difference is; at the end of the day, both are Black and both are minorities.

You were right, neither "race-baiting" nor attempting to diminish or brush aside the accusers' claims!
