Note to no one in particular regarding Gloria Allred

Neither Gloria Allred, nor her clients care if you like Gloria or not. She is an effective attorney for her clients, and that is her job. As a matter of fact, if you direct any anger regarding the issues at hand at Gloria and not her client, then she is helping the client even more.

For the record, I've exchanged an email or two with Gloria, and she goes out of her way to be nice and polite. So, those that express a dislike for her can take a long walk off of a short pier.

I think you are correct about the anger directed at Ms. Allred does help in shining a light on the issues that women face when they defend themselves with the assistance of an attorney. IF I ever found myself in such a situation I would want her to represent me -- or someone as tough as her.

I imagine that's completely right, she doesn't care who she rubs the wrong way, and yes that's a good thing if she's in the right. But thinking people can disagree whether she is in the right can't they? Are her clients always in the right? Maybe they are, forgive me for my ignorance but I don't know if that's the case.

Not everyone can be an expert on the merits of all her cases. And in the meantime she's out there trying her cases in the media. Again, I'm not making a judgement on her, I've done a tiny amount of Googling and her cases look pretty righteous, but you can't really blame people who haven't done the research, or who might have a different idea of what's righteous.
