Cain to hold press conference Tuesday
Posted by
CNN Senior Producer Kevin Bohn

(CNN) - Republican presidential contender Herman Cain will address the latest sexual harassment allegations against him at a Tuesday afternoon news conference, his campaign announced late Monday.

Cain to respond to Bialek on Tuesday
By MAGGIE HABERMAN | 11/7/11 10:41 PM EST

CNN and ABC News' Michael Falcone are reporting that Herman Cain, who has said he's not commenting and it's the "end of story" several times in the past week, will hold a press conference in Arizona tomorrow to address the latest allegations today, made by Chicago single mom Sharon Bialek.

In a series of tweets, Falcone also said the Cain campaign is questioning Bialek's motives.

"Cain's campaign calls Sharon Bialek a 'woman with a long history of severe financial difficulties,' " was one tweet.

That was an apparent reference to a local Illinois report earlier today on Bialek's life, including twice filing for personal bankruptcy, in 1991 and in 2001.

Cain's press conference comes as a number of Republicans - including Haley Barbour and Newt Gingrich - tonight said he needs to lay out the facts and get the story over with. It's not clear that that is what Cain has planned for tomorrow.

Report: Cain sought dinner date with fifth woman
By MAGGIE HABERMAN | 11/7/11 10:53 PM EST

A former USAID worker claims Herman Cain asked her to set up dinner with a woman who attended a speech he gave in 2002, the Washington Examiner is reporting tonight.

The worker - 40-year-old Donna Donella, of Arlington - told the paper that the moment came after Cain gave a paid speech in Egypt that year. A woman in the crowd posed a query to Cain during the speech, the Examiner said.

Donella told them “And after the seminar was over, Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, ‘Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?’”

She was "suspicious of Cain's motives and delined to set up the date," the Examiner reporter wrote.

That prompted Cain to reply, "Then you and I can have dinner." Instead, some of Donella's co-workers suggested a group outing.

1. From the Politico article:
"She said she didn't witness any "inappropriate sexual behavior" at the group dinner. But she claimed he asked the waiter for two $400 bottles of wine, and then stiffed the rest of the group when it came time to pay."

I guess HE showed THEM!

4. Oh Lord. He looks like a nice old man now, but in his heyday his behavior was quite appalling.
Sounds like the kind of man that thinks every woman wants to "experience him". :puke:

5. "she claimed he asked the waiter for two $400 bottles of wine, and then

So the millionaire dines like a king and leaves the underlings to pick up the tab?

Not only a cretinous harasser but a cheap bastard too. I guess he only paid for dinner if he was planning to get paid back in other ways. What scum.
