1. Like all the media they will select 1/3 of a second of it to air on the news.
More than that and they risk actually informing their viewers, which would be a serious breach of the modern media's code of ethics.

3. Maybe because they felt there are more important issues than what a man who will never be
president anyway did ten years ago. Yes sexual harassment is wrong. If Cain did it he was wrong just like it was wrong if Bill Clinton or anyone else did it. But I would rather concentrate on reelecting President Obama, getting back a Democratic Congress, and creating jobs.

6. My same logic applies if it was sexual assault. Of course that's wrong and it's a crime.
But as I said he will never be president anyway. It's a crime story. I would rather concentrate on more important issue that affect me and my family.

4. They got part way into it and the reporter said, "TMI..."
She was rather explicit on the offense and MSNBC is probably going to cut some of that out before they air what's left.

8. MSNBC is not a "full service" news outlet. They're always MIA on weekends.
They do it on the cheap--they don't have the budget, reach or control over network affiliations that FOX has. There's somewhat of a wall between what NBC does and what MSNBC does. I don't think they can use the assets of local affiliates like Fauxsnooze can.
