Just proves that the left's version of teabaggery is a minority within the Democratic Party. Just sayin'.

1. Kerry, Mondale, and Gore can't win a presidential election
Edited on Mon Dec-21-09 02:21 AM by LittleBlue

2. Gore actually won his election, despite the piece of shit running mate the DLC forced on him
Kerry was a weak candidate running on Will Marshalls PNAC foreign policy and deserved to lose, regardless of what Ken Blackwell did in Ohio.

13. Kerry absolutely did not run on a PNAC foreign policy
The fact is that he was a FAR stronger candidate that Dean was. Daen polled about 20 points behind Bush - worse by far than "generic" Democrat. If Kerry were weak what does it say that Dean, with Gore's and Harken's endorsements and far more money and media on his side LOST to Kerry by TWENTY points (18 vs 38) in Iowa? As to weak, who whined about not wanting to be a pin cushion? Not Kerry.

The Republicans had to suppress the vote even after the media completely slanted against Kerry - he nearly pulled off an upset.

16. I smell flop sweat on the DLC
they thought they were clever by having their way with the White House, but they forgot that real people don't actually like their corrupt policies.

6. Oh, I don't know. I'd place

political-honesty and conviction over selling out to the corporate thugs.

I don't see Dr. Dean kissing the butt of some exec from Wellpoint or GlaxoSmithKline.

9. I disagree with Dean on this one, but the dude is awesome just the same.
His 50 state strategy gave us our majority and the Presidency. He would have been a vast improvement over Bush had he won the primaries.

10. I don't find this particularly productive. The HCR act will be law, for those that want
to make it better, they should let their representatives know how they feel, and push to have it amended

For those that just want to complain without any positive alternative, I hope the cathartic experience is good for them

DEAN LAID THE GROUNDWORK FOR OBAMA HE WAS JUST TOO EARLY... remember the you have the power chant... that became yes we can... Your idiocy is astounding I hope all the candidates you support for whatever office loose for the pure schadenfreude I will get from it.

Also how short is your fucking memory. people have said it before ill say it again. the 50 state strategy laid the ground work for Obama. If Dean did not happen Obama wouldn't have.. A lot of us Deaniacs were early supporters of Obama..

The treatment the former Governor has got here has been horrible

18. The sooth-sayers are off this weekend but when they come back my
guess is their prognostications on Howard Dean will suggest an impressive future (as he is a good man) but not one in electoral politics.

22. Dean saved the democratic party from itself
by advocating a 50 state strategy, by creating the netroots that Obama used to get elected...

if you're a typical democrat, that's a pretty sad indictment of your political consciousness.

Dean also enacted legislation as governor that provided health care. Dean is a doctor who has experience with the health care problems in this nation. Therefore, he is someone who can speak with some authority and others will value what he says.

what have you done that's comparable?

...just askin'
