1. Aw, but didn't you see Thomas' head exploded?
He kind of got out-numbered on a decision.

10. For those who don't remember, Thomas was famous
Edited on Tue Nov-01-11 11:26 AM by Nancy Waterman
for playing victim to what he called "a high-tech lynching" during his Supreme Court nomination hearings.
Anita Hill described in lurid detail his sexual harassment of her when she worked under him (at the EEOC?).
Anyway, she got smeared and discredited by the GOP, although she was also a Republican and not a liberal
and had no reason to lie. He, of course, went on to become a Supreme Court Justice.

Now Cain is trying to worm out of the current charges and the fringe right-wing media is supporting him by saying it is just a smear campaign with no substance or worse yet, a play on racial stereotypes. Same crap as happened under during the Thomas hearings. Given what Anita Hill said, it is an abomination that he is even on the Court.

12. He is truly a horrible Supreme Court Justice. I don't know if there is anything he would think
qualifies as "cruel and unusual punishment."

Reading his cases/opinions in law school was :wow: :grr:
