Obama Crushes Perry in recent Poll, Crushes Cain even worse
Head to Head polling matchups of President Obama against potential GOP candidates make a lot more sense as a measure than some approve/disapprove foolishness. That is here in the Real World. Where GOP agitators take their righful place , drowned out by Occupy protestors and Fox and Friends lies.

The struggling one-time front-runner is now trailing President Barack Obama in a head-to-head matchup 49 percent to 35 percent.

Perry would fare worse than businessman Herman Cain, who in a poll last week trailed Obama 42 percent to 39 percent.

Now why in the world would ANY Democrat get between a resounding victory like this, maybe even a landslide, to stir up trouble for no damn reason?

Not if they have any hart.

2. And Romney?
Those are real fun numbers to look at, but Romney is the one who demands our attention.

3. Most Of Those Polls Show A Tie Or A Small Lead Either Way
It's too early to rely on polls anyway.

4. you know, I don't argue that
but I think to the MOR voter that will swing this thing, the idea that his own party hates him is too strong to overcome.

So true. It's hard when the media is in the big guy's pockets. Bush was a clown and the Democratic Party managed to articulate a close win both times , which of course turned into a loss by the time they were finished.

I still to this day do not understand why Kerry called off all the attorneys in Ohio.

12. The numbers against Romney aren't quite so positive, of course.
In New Hampshire (which Obama won in 2008) Romney
tops Obama by 8%.

15. 3% would be a pretty solid win at the polls.
But seriously, do you really think turnout in the South for Cain would hold up? I don't.

17. Obama will win if the economy shows signs of improving and the unemployment rate ...
drops below 7%. It doesn't matter who runs against him.

If we enter a double dip recession and the unemployment rate rises above 10%, Obama will lose no matter who runs against him.

That assumes that we are not "attacked" by Iran shortly before the election. If that were to happen Obama might pull off a victory even with a bad employment rate.

21. To Get To 7% Unemployment The Economy Would Have To Create 500 Or 600 Thousand Jobs A Month
That's not going to happen.

20. 3% is within the margin or error. That's not crushing.
Now you can speculate that Cain would not be popular in the South, but that's a different subject. Your OP was about a poll.

repubs would be idiots to nominate anyone but Romney. Even I don't believe they are stupid enough to go with anyone but Romney.

He doesn't crush Cain even worse. The match with Cain would be a lot closer.
