remember how hard we all worked in 2008
I knew Obama would win in 2008. I feel the same way in 2012.
In 2008 my family feared an Obama loss. We would take turns going down to PA to GOTV. I donated cash. We worked hard.
Curious..
I wont be doing a thing for the national campaign in 2012. I will be working to unseat Nan Hayworth in the NYSCD19 race.
Anyone else not care all that much about the circle d DLC this year? remember - work local..

1. Whatever you feel you need to do
The GOP in control of any of the branches of government is an impediment to any Progressive goals. It's bad enough that they're in control of SCOTUS, and that majority doesn't need to strengthen.

2. I have a friend that will be running for judge
and I really would like to see Nan Hayworth be a one termer.

As far as Obama goes, I cant afford medical treatment although I have full health :insurance:. So I will work hard to improve my health, elect a judge, and remove Hayworth.

I am certain that Obama will win - he just wont be doing it with my shoe leather or cash..

8. There is no "Obama-can-do-no-wrong" crowd.
There is, however, a sizable group that understands that Democrats ripping him to shreds while republicans hogtie him isn't exactly productive.

Whatever.

9. Is that the Policy Purity Patrol or the Party Purity Patrol?
Progressives are just as fascist on their purity reviews as us moderates.

10. It's local elections for me this year.
Edited on Sun Aug-28-11 10:58 PM by Jakes Progress
My first to not do full service for national candidate. I lack the ability to promote his bipartisan shtick and his austerity and education plans with a straight face. And I get so tired of "At least he's not ......" as the only campaign issue going.

16. working local is probably more important anyway.
Obama will most likely win anyway. We need more Democrats in the House and Senate and in Gov mansions to solve this mess we are in.
