2. You can't spell 'embarrassment'...
...without spelling 'rent', and Steele's got to pay his like everyone else. Unlike everyone else, he has a gig.

3. It appears that Steele is the token repub and says absolutely
nothing each time they have him on MSNBC. Trouble is, since they will not press him on the issues and candidates it is almost channel changing time when he is on, which I often do, then change back. It's like they don't want to bash their paid token repub. Steele couldn't even exert himself for the party when he was Chairman he didn't help the cash flow into the RNC....... why would he be able to perfrom as their spokesman now? He is bought and paid for by both sides I guess.

4. As a white guy, I find Steele embarassing ... for the entire human race ...
I mean, if Space Aliens see that idiot on TV, their subsequent decision is going to be to wipe us out ... and to use our remains as fuel for their ships, and that is probably defensible in the Intergalactic Court system.

I can see it now ... "but your Intergalactic honor ... its not like we wiped out a planet of intelligent beings ... allow me to play this clip of one of their political leaders ... Michael Steele" ... the tape runs ...

And the judge declares ... "Case Dismissed!! In the matter of Plutonians V Earth bugs, I hereby find that the Earth bugs were incredibly icky, and the Plutonians were justified in using their worthless carcasses for fuel ... next case!"

5. I am CONVINCED that Steele is a great actor! I am also convinced
that he had to be on the DNC payroll during his stint as RNC Chairman.

6. Sharpton called him on that recently
He pointed out when interviewing Steele that he was one of the most successful RNC chairs in history, yet they tossed him out. Steele just laughed, but I think that one landed.

7. what RNC Chairman hasn't proven to be a disappointment after leaving office
I am not sure that we'd think much better of him if Steele had left on his own terms.

I believe Steele actually believes in the causes that he advocates, and I have to concede that Steeele is a great spokesperson. I wouldn't mistake his loyalty to the ideology for loyalty to those who wanted him removed as Chair. I am not even sure what his race or race in general has to do with his political loyalties.

I'm much more disappointed in some of the things that Alan West advocates, not only from an ideological point of view, but also because how he conveys his message.

At least, Steele professes his ideological leanings respectfully and coherently. Frankly, I find his approach and perspective almost refreshing when compared to some of the other hot-heads that spout RNC talking points.

9. I would just like to point out...
..that blacks have lost more net worth and have had highest unemployment EVER under Obama. Just because someone is black doesn't make them automatically best for the black race.

DEAR REP. BARBARA LEE, CHAIR OF THE CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS, CAN WE TALK?

http://www.democratsforprogress.com/2011/08/18/dear-rep-barbara-lee-chair-of-the-congressional-black-caucus-can-we-talk/

<snip>

The newest political strategy is to turn the African-American community against the first black president. The idea is to get black folks to scream at the President and to threaten to withhold our support come November 2012. Due to the very high unemployment rate in the black community, this could be an easy sell. The well-paid professional propagandists don’t ask African-Americans to lay the blame for the lack of employment at the feet of the business world (which is hoarding up a couple of trillions in their rainy-day fund), or to consider the fact that governors everywhere are cutting down on the public sector workforce (comprised of large numbers of black Americans per capita), or to holler at the Republican-dominated House, which has blocked most of the job-creating programs introduced by Democrats. Instead, they want us to aim our fire solely at our President and to blame him for 30 years of white men’s policies.

I'm not sure whether you are just gullible or think that the rest of us are. But, trust me - we members of "the black race" know better.

So, please peddle your garbage elsewhere.

11. Well that is what happens when politicans leave the moral compass at home and get
on the money train. By the way it goes with both parties. This country is ready to explode what is going on to the american people. Our pols are screwing us and we aren't even enjoying it.
