Help us Nancy Wan Pelosi... you're our only hope.
Is there anything she can do to get the public option back in?

1. If she's the only hope, we're dead in the water.
Nancy "nothing worth doing is on the table while I'm speaker" Pelosi isn't going to save the day.

2. Well, she did manage to get several bills passed in the House that are more liberal
than the Senate versions. Way more liberal.

That's like trying to corral a group of cats, getting the House members to agree on something. But she did it.

That IS more than Reid has done.

5. True.
When it suits her purposes, she can function.

Too many critical needs don't suit her purposes.

3. It doesn't appear that any changes to include a PO would pass a Senate vote, so regardless
of what Pelosi may include, it comes down to the whims of Nelson, LIEberman, et al and their agreements they struck.

4. No
Don't expect the final bill to be that much different than what the Senate passes.

8. Its not her fault.
When you add the Blue Dogs and the New Dems together,
they outnumber the Progressives.

The Progressives won't be able to do a thing about
it, and in order to not look weak, they will green-
light the disastrous HC"R".

I just hope that more people will stop funding the
"party" and start funding individual candidates and
initiatives as a result of this buggering we're getting.

9. It's not all her fault
but she's played her role, and no help is forthcoming from her.
