We Shouldn't Overestimate Or Underestimate Rick Perry

Anybody that doesn't think his Elmer Gantry meets Ronald Reagan shtick will play in the former states of the Old Confederacy are lying to themselves. I think states like Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida will be very much in play in the 012 election.

However, there's a lot more to the U.S. than the South. And that's where the election will be won or lost.

I think this election will be a repeat of 00 and 04 where the election will be decided by a couple of midwestern states.

How will Perry play there?

Bush took care of that for me. I expected a landslide, both elections. I was wrong. I will no longer laugh off any candidate.
