Are we getting a clue yet?

Viva Cuba and their noble and successful struggle against the empire!
May we learn from their efforts against corporatism.

2. Hell no it's not hyperbolic. The US did everything it could to
make Cuba fail. Everything. In fact, kind of reminds me of what people are doing to Obama right now. Say he'll fail or he has failed, and then make it happen.

I hate the way the capitalist countries did everything they could do to make socialist experiments fail, and then turn around and point the finger at them and say, "see, we told you, socialism doesn't work".

No no. It wasa definitely against an empire, and right in the hell hole of it being that it is so close.

No. This is not hyperbole. Sure Cuba has its flaws, just like everybody else. But the advancements they have made in favor of the people cannot be ignored. Just imagine what they might have done without all the embargoes and what not. Hell, we were even gonna do a 911 on them. But I guess we had absolutely no effect on their development.

3. How many Cubans went homeless after the derivatives crash?
Edited on Tue Aug-09-11 05:21 PM by Billy Burnett
How many Cubans went homeless after the derivatives crash?

Zero.

As a matter of fact, housing shortages have been reduced.

How many lost their access to high quality health care?

Zero.

As a matter of fact, health care access has been expanded.

How many schools were shut down and teachers fired due to gov't austerity measures?

Zero.

As a matter of fact, schools have been opening and more teachers hired and on the job, producing the world's greatest teacher/student ratio.

Yes, I'd say they've engaged and succeeded against corporatism's empire building - even done so while the US has engaged a myriad of measures specifically intended to cripple Cuba's economy.

Viva Cuba!

May we learn from their noble struggle against empire and corporatism.
