In 2008 I didn't do that. I voted for a candidate I was enthused about, one who seemed to have caught on to what needed to be done to put the country back on the right track. I donated money and time to see my candidate through the primaries and then the general election. And I was jazzed when he won. First time in many years I was excited about the future of America.

It's now 2011. I'm going to vote for President Obama next year. As the lesser of two evils.
