1. In general, for boycotts to work they must be specific, well-defined, and local.
This is none of this things and is all but useless.

4. YES, it starts out local!! Then it SPREADS!!! There is nothing
more specific than CLASS WARFARE!!! People who think like YOU are the reason we will continue to be ignored! People like YOU are the reason that teabaggers have more of a voice and INFLUENCE than WE DO!!! The civil rights movement started out as "grass roots!"
There are those of us who intend to take this to the CHURCHES WHERE IT WILL REACH THOUSANDS!!!

3. How about boycott using credit cards.
Cut them up and throw them away, maybe keep one for dire emergencies. The lack of credit money flowing will shrink the economy and send a message.

31. Unfortunately concerning boycotts you are out of touch with reality and have no business
in telling people what they should or should not complain about.

Your so-called boycott is not focused, is not well defined, and is all over the map. The people who it would actually be hurt the worst are those who can least afford to be hurt. The wealthy and big business will in no way ever even remotely be proportionally hurt.

This proposed boycott--massive fail.

35. Well I'm glad you weren't there in the sixties. And all your
bullshit rhetoric about Obama, Koch brothers and all else conservative is just that, rhetoric. YOU don't have to do a damn thing but keep buying your ipods and blackberrys. BTW, thanks to NAFTA there aren't any jobs here anymore and those who DO have jobs are working at the mercy of those interests that have bought off politicians, courts and everything in between. For you to sit back and tell people to do NOTHING is irresponsible, imo. People like you are the reason we have no voice and no influence.

I know I'm going to do what I can in my state, my city and my community to start this movement.

So, if we don't do anything to help ourselves then all the moaning and complaining about the wealthy 1 or 2% and Obama and the democrats and progressives and teabaggers is all BULLSHIT RHETORIC!! How can you have consumer spending and nobody is working??

26. Expressing dissatisfaction is not an affront to the President!
He didn't create this extreme deference in class! NAFTA, Koch brothers (representing that 1%)and the teabaggers have already sabatoged this economy!! Why not be PROactive instead of REactive or should we wait until we're all destitute???!!!!

write the CEO and TELL them you won't buy stuff and exactly why.

That is how the boycott of Glenn Beck sponsors were so effective so quickly.

if you JUST stop buying, they could think it's a marketing problem, the economy, etc.

29. Boycott Koch Industries — They Bankroll the Teaparty
STOP BUYING SHIT!!

That would just play into the teabaggers' hands. They want to wreck the economy so they can sweep the elections next year.

We need to buy local when we can.

We need to boycott everything connected with the Koch brothers, who are the principal benefactors of the teabaggers.
