OK fellow progressives, it's over. TIme to organize for Phase II.

Regardless of who we may or may not support, or primary or even heckle in 2012, there is still work to be done until then.

We have got to organize for this mythical Super Committee. We have to decide upon a concise set of demands and trarget our efforts.

I suggest we use the threat (or opportunity) of this Committee to push for REAL progressive change!!

FIrst, huge savings come from an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We will have the will of the American people on our side- everyone is tired of these wars.

Next, Bush tax cuts are gone!!!!

Tax reform that includes closing corporate loopholes and subsidies. In addition, reform will include a new tax rule by which an automatic audit is triggered by deductions and write-offs of a certain (yet to be determined) amount (more likely a percentage). If the rich have all of these deductions and write-offs, they have to sit down with an IRS agent and explain- cut down on cheats!!!!

Any other suggestions are appreciated, but the point, is moping is useless and destructive. We got hit by a pitch. We have to shake it off. Most importantly, the employment of my suggestions would benefit this country and that more then anything is our goal.

4. We have a tremendous advantage. We are right and our

objectives are just. We must use the power that comes from the love we have for this country and our countryfolk.

The only way this country comes together is if we lead it. We see that no one else is going to step up!

Am not saying that we can't chip in for catastrophes but alot of the geo-political bribes have got to go!

5. If Iraq boots us out, we can reduce the Army by 50000

And how about a high tech job training program for those veterans? Bet it would cost less than the war budget that we would be replacing.

Less than 2 months until the next "crisis" where Obama will cave to the Republicans to get the budget done.
