For all who are upset we didn't get hardly nothing out of this just remember this
Some of us didn't get out and vote last November for us to keep the majority of Congress and as a result of some of us not taking voting serious we have right wing nut jobs in the Congress and like it or not they are the majority until 2012 so the President CAN'T get progressive programs through Congress so idiots like Big Ed need to realize this.

5. I don't personally know anyone
that's a consistent and steadfast voter that did not vote in Nov. 2010.

6. I could have told you 6 months ago this would not end well
One of two things would happen:

A) There would be a default, which Republicans would be blamed for in the short run, but the ensuing depression would ultimately drag Obama down with it in 2012.

or

B) Obama would give away the store to get the debt ceiling raised and alienate liberal Democrats, causing more headaches for 2012.

Looks like B was the poison that was picked.

7. Doesn't give a so called Dem President the right to always side with Reps...
Supposedly, we have the Senate and the Presidency - that's 2 out of 3....

8. I went out and voted. I voted a straight Democratic ticket. So that line isn't going to work on me.
But I expect the politicians who I support and vote for to actually stand up for the causes I elected them to stand up for.
