3. Both shows are repeated at least three times a day.
Since there are repeats and also DVRs, I think that folks will be watching both and not having to pick one or the other :)

5. Yep, it is good to have him back.

I've been using the http://msnbclive.eu/ link ever since RockinRooster moved over there from JustinTV.

The main page is http://msnbclive.eu/
and the rentadrone link is actually there at the top left of the page under the word HOME it says: FOK CURRENT TV HD

The mods in the chat there said that starting sometime tomorrow the FOK CURRENT TV HD link will be streaming Current TV 24/7.

I understand by what I've been reading that tonight they streamed Keith's show on the MSNBC link on that website - I think that messed up some folks.

I'm not sure what they actually did on that website cause I watched Keith on TV tonight. I'll check out the streams tomorrow.

p.s. I do know that his audio guys need to fix the in-studio feed because I had to turn the TV all the way up to hear Keith and then when the commercials came on they were blasting! LOL.

7. If I could get Current TV on my local cable
company I would agree be unfortunately I can't. I would be willing to pay a fee if I could access it on the internet.

16. Keith had said something about
hoping to lure Rachel to Current TV some day. We'll see. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of surprises ahead and Current TV could end up becoming quite an influential news station. Al Gore must be a happy guy these days.

10. I definitely could have done without Michael Moore talking about war.
As if he's an expert on war strategy, war powers or constitutional law. Not a lawyer, not a constitutional scholar, never been in the military. Why couldn't Keith get someone who actually has some expertise in the area?

I will continue to watch Lawrence. He has the best political commentary show on TV, but I'll TIVO Keith, or vise versa. At least until Keith starts going off the deep end with his rants.

14. "Michael Moore" is one of the reasons I didn't even watch it.
I got over Keith long before his MSNBC show ended, and having to look at MM daily is no reason for me to break my boycott. Sorry, but I hate fanatics of all stripes.

13. The ratings for the first episode of Countdown are in. In the demo it took fourth place among

the five cable news shows at 8 PM EST.

Night one of “Countdown” on Current TV Monday drew 179,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 demo favored by advertisers. Total viewership numbers were not revealed.

That placed Current ahead of CNN, which drew 89,000 A25-54 (regular host Eliot Spitzer is off this week), and behind MSNBC with 237,000 A25-54, HLN with 419,000 A25-54 and Fox News which handily topped everything else on cable news with 735,000. Of course, as with any ratings, what matters more than the day one ratings are where they eventually settle, numbers which could be substantially altered by factors like a new lineup, new competition or expanded distribution.

I realize that this was the first night and as the quote says, this could change. But nevertheless Lawrence O'Donnell beat Countdown handily and Fox News had about four times as many viewers. I consider those numbers disappointing for Countdown. Usually premiers do better than that because people tune in to sample the new program on it's first day.

15. But are you taking into account
that Current doesn't reach nearly as many homes as the other networks?

17. Current reaches 40% less homes than Fox News does, yet on Monday night FNC beat Current by 400%.
So I don't think that carriage numbers can be much of an excuse. Any way you slice it, KO's ratings were a disappointment. I am a big KO fan. I was expecting better than that.

20. The TONS of folks that watched online are not being counted.
Also, Keith's show is being repeated something like every 3 hours on CurrentTV.
If 'everyone' was counted then Keith's viewership number would be quite higher.

21. The other programs that he is up against are also available online
and are also repeated at other hours and the ratings I quoted didn't include that either.
