Want to be scared by Bachman?
Michele Bachmann's Unrivaled Extremism
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2011-06-14/michele-bachmanns-unrivaled-extremism-gay-rights-to-religion/

Much of it was news to me and truly scary. here is an excerpt:

Belief is the key to understanding Michele Bachmann, who announced her presidential candidacy during Monday's Republican debate. Her impressive performance, which catapulted her close to the front of the presidential pack, surprised some, who perhaps expected her to be as inarticulate as Sarah Palin, to whom she's often compared. But in Minnesota, even those who don't like her politics say she shouldn't be underestimated. "The fact that she's not a heavy lifter, the fact that she's relatively unconcerned about the substance of legislation, does not mean that she's not crafty, that she's not intelligent and she's not fast," says former Minnesota Gov. Arne Carlson, a Republican. Her ideological radicalism should not be mistaken for stupidity.

On Monday, Bachmann didn't talk a lot about her religion. She didn't have to—she knows how to signal it in ways that go right over secular heads. In criticizing Obama's Libya policy, for example, she said, "We are the head and not the tail." The phrase comes from Deuteronomy 28:13: "The Lord will make you the head and not the tail." As Rachel Tabachnick has reported, it's often used in theocratic circles to explain why Christians have an obligation to rule.

1. If they have the obligation to rule.

Then they will be given the charisma to have popular support. Or there actions will earn the respect of people and be seen that way. And such Charisma can be removed or changed very easily. Although some try to do that exact thing by using smear. Do you see that people are trying to emulate control of how people are seen by using deception. Not by there actions seen in perspective.

Most of the 'Biblical' figures had popular support of many people, but not support from a few in the status quo.

That is a simple truth of democracy, not some 'claiming' they should rule.

And the Temple went off coarse 2000 years ago when they turned in on themselves, I don't put it past some other churches of faith today to do the same thing, if they turn it into it being about them ruling, and not helping the widows with only a couple pennies, that give far more.

And I really am due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

Side note, and of coarse I am due beer and travel money, and have no interest in such things like who rules this or that. That is not a claim I make, I am due beer and travel money and that will be sent.

Side note, I have broken the Charisma spells of many people, although not by anything I post. It is a simple thing to do, and smear is not needed nor advised. Just think and feel about it.

At the same time I think it is appropriate to add to the charisma of people you like and respect, with good thoughts of support of the same ideas. And if it is meant to be, and accurate that 'add' will stick and help them.

The media tries to create hype around people, that is a false charisma to try and control society.

I recognized many singers and actors Charisma the first time I saw them. I also know there are many that are falsely created by hype.

7. Using the OT that only applied to the Jews
And they forget about the rest of that chapter. Like...

if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

(Has she obeyed all of his commandments? Not just the 10 but all of them.)

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

(produce of your ground, increase herds, cattle, flocks??? If she doesn't have any of them then she can't become the head.)

Then verses 16 to 29 has all the curses she will suffer.

And she will be betroth a wife? And a man will lie with her. So I guess she will have to become a lesbian.

Damn I hate all these damn self righteous christians that consider themselves better than everyone else.

15. Because quoting Jesus would make them sound...
WAY TOO LIBERAL! I wonder all the time why Christians seem to act as if the New Testament does not exist. And how they pick certain things like homosexuality as being bad but they stuff their face with lobster & shrimp. The god of the Bible has a huge list of "rules" in the OT & most are simply ignored...Unless they can be used to attack others!

The fact is if you believe in the super natural regardless if you are a Fundie or moderate then you have to have certain disconnects especially when it comes to the Bible! I notice this very early in life & it definitely played a role in my coming to grips with reality. But thats just me.

11. This is not the scary part
The scary part is that she is actually smarter than Palin and that much more delusional. Palin comes by her stuff nearly accidentally more or less out of a fascination with "shiny objects". Bachman has a far better formed ideation of reality that is based in delusion. In short, Palin makes word salad out of trained talking points, Bachman on the other hand really means it.
