Political Wire on 'Romney's confidence'
Posted on Tuesday Jun 14th at 3:20pm

The Los Angeles Times notes Mitt Romney felt confident enough he would not only win the Republican presidential nomination but the general election against President Obama that in chatting with the owner of a New Hampshire hardware store he promised a return visit in four years, when "I'll probably have Secret Service with me."

3. Overconfidence aside, what the hell was he doing in a hardware store?
Edited on Tue Jun-14-11 03:35 PM by napi21
Somehow I don't see him doing any repairs, building, or buying bug spray HIMSELF!

OOPS! My bad. I just got an email from the Wasington Times stating he visited several stores in NH trolling for votes.

Romney scours N.H. for votes (and laughs)

Mitt Romney paraded through two diners, a hardware shop and a feed store in New Hampshire on Tuesday morning, continuing his offensive against President Obama.
