Feingold scores well in straw poll
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/123160978.html

Former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold was the top pick for governor and the U.S. Senate in a straw poll among delegates this weekend at the Wisconsin Democratic Party convention in Milwaukee.

The strawpoll was conducted by WisPolitics.com

Delegates attending the convention strongly favored Feingold as the party’s next nominee for governor.

He received 254 votes out of 573 votes that were cast. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who lost to Gov. Scott Walker in November, came in a distant second with 99 votes.

For the Senate, Feingold polled 271 votes. U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, a Dane County Democrat, had 187 votes.
