Andy Card claims Obama 'Has Pounded His Chest a Little Too Much', forgets Bush's enhanced flight suit

In an interview with Der Spiegel former Chief of Staff for former President George W. Bush, Andy Card, shows just out of touch members of the Bush administration are when he states the following about Obama:

"I think he has pounded his chest a little too much. He can take pride in it, but he does not need to show it so much."

And after the interviewer pointed out that Obama has refrained from acting too triumphant Card replies:

"I thought his statement was subdued, but I think his schedule is not subdued. Personally, I think it is premature to go to Ground Zero, in New York. I think my role model in this would be George H. W. Bush, when the Berlin Wall came down in 1989. It was a day to celebrate, but we did not dance on the Wall."

Rather than going on with a long explanation calling bullshit on Card's assessment I will just let two pictures taken at public events do the talking. The first one is of George W. Bush following the end of major combat operations in Iraq and the second is of Obama after Osama bin Laden was killed.

President George W. Bush, May 1, 2003

President Barack Obama May 5, 2011

Looking at these two pictures I'm not sure how Card's assessment of Obama's handling of the aftermath of the bin Laden raid can be taken seriously. President Obama has been measured and respectful in response to this historic event and to imply otherwise is just bitterness on the part of Bush administration officials.

2. He's not necessarily "out of touch". Remember, first and foremost, Card is a propagandist
I doubt he believes one word of what he is saying.

But he's gotta catapult the propaganda, as his boss used to say.

5. "catapult the propaganda" I actually remember Bush saying that!
Sometimes he actually let the truth slip out like that.

What a dunce he is/was!

4. Go suck on a lemon
What a bunch of ungracious assholes. They never cease to amaze me at how low they will go to sriticize the PResident.

If it were Bush, Card would be planning a victory parade complete with confetti down 5th Avenue.

6. Andy Card, who said you don't introduce new "products" in August
When he was getting ready to lie about WMD, instead of focusing on Afghanistan/Bin Laden.

What these failures really hate more than anything is being reminded how utterly inferior they are.

9. Or compare *'s fist pumps as they
bombed Iraq during the "Shock and Awe" campaigne, to Obama's administration sitting in shock and awe at what they were seeing in real time of this attack.

And how did they react to the death of Saddam's sons and the catching of Saddam...I seem to remember days of back-patting.

31. What's your point?
The main point of the remark was the behavior, not how they were viewing the happening.

The news said they were watching in real time from the helmet cameras.

14. And let's keep this in mind:
When Bush did his "mission accomplished" thing, he hadn't accomplished a damn thing! I never could figure out what they were supposed to be celebrating.

Obama, on the other hand...

23. G.W. loves to dress-up. If this had been his victory,
he'd have been dressed up like a SEAL down at Ft. Campbell.

They would've had a PARADE, with banners and balloons, etc. It would've been like he personally won the Super Bowl or Stanley Cup or something! They are such liars with minuscule memories.

....

Bush looked impatiently at Car, hard-eyed, "You're the chief of staff. You think you're up to getting us some cheeseburgers?"

Card was basically a butler for them and apparently was very good at it. Rove was the defacto Chief of Staff.
