So that Walker can reduce the state's intake from corporate taxes by an estimated $187 million (out of a total of $630 million annually). He and the legislature also passed a provision requiring a two-thirds supermajority to pass income tax increases, meaning that such will likely never pass again in the foreseeable future, which in turn means merely that property taxes will go through the roof or that services will be slashed to pieces.
