With those four wight wing nuts on the court I hate to say it I'm nervous. These guys obviously don't like the President. They didn't even show up at the State Of The Union address. The health care law should be a slam dunk but these guys on the court are practicing POLITICAL ACTIVISM

1. Yup. Time to impeach Clarence Thomas
He's broken the law. We're fools if we give him a pass.

I find it amazing that we have Federal Employees (Senators,Congressmen and Federal Judges)who all have good health care that we tax payers pay for can make decisions on poor people and middle class saying we can't have it.This sounds like the shit thats going on in Egypt

5. Actually, what I have wanted to do for ages is
put George the First on trial for forcing Thomas on us. That has to be the most farcical moment in our history.

4. Why?Join the majority that are getting nothing now and will not in the future.
The only people that care about this are people with insurance.

7. Nah. The Supreme Court dreads getting involved in this kind of partisan battle.
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 01:37 PM by argonaut
I'm actually thinking 6-3 in favour of the bill, with Roberts voting to uphold the constitutionality. Striking down the law would set off a nuclear bomb of partisan bitterness and taint the court like never before. I've no doubt Kennedy and Robert dislike Obama, but they're not crazy enough to wade into the quagmire of teabagger politics.

e: Not that Bush -v- Gore didn't taint the court, but this is on a whole different level, and that's saying something. Not a chance the court rules against the act.

8. No way the law stands w/ that court. I was never a fan of being forced to buy private insurance
anyways. This country is really going to hell. Money has corrupted everything, and I don't see anything changing no matter who is in office

9. This is what HC insurance companies dreamed of.
A never-ending state of flux with no clear plan, no clear path, and endless back and forths in policy, courts and waivers.

It makes their life so much better.
