"Who's our choice for leader?" he says. As MSNBC pans the crowd, he says "Where do you find a leader in that?" It would be a good choice for those people take over the embassy and kick our meddling asses out. It would be a plus for us.
We have a VP who doesn't realize Mubarrak is a dictator. Cheesus christ, wake up.
4. No it would take a fool with no sense of diplomacy to say it. What happens if this doesn't pan out?
Then our words could come to bite us in the ass. What's wrong with you people who have no understanding of what it means to be a leader. Burn your bridges even if you don't even know when the bridge is worth burning. It's shit like that, that got us into the Iraq war. We're like he's got WMD's and sold it as a war to save people who were terrorized and we have people who now want us out because we went into a war for no reason. We live in a world where sadly...you need to deal with people you would rather not. You say things sometimes in order to keep the peace.
7. What are you talking about? What does your post have anything to do with that I just stated?
I come from a nation who uses these sorts of tactics every couple of decades. I was born in Haiti. My nation hasn't really had a President who's lasted to term. I think it's only happened about 3-4 times in our history for all our Presidents for 200+ years. You get that? So this is not new---and the will of the people is not always good. As a nation who's looking in...you don't butt heads with the will of anyone. We have no idea what the will of the people will produce? This could last a couple of weeks and then die down. I'm sure you remember what happened in Iran 2 years ago. Same people are still in power and nothing has changed. How do you want our government to function, if the current leader stays in power after this uproar and we had opened our mouths. We live in a state of affairs where war doesn't work. We can't just say what we want. We can't just do what we want. You act like our nation has no obligation as a whole to work with some of these people. We can't pick fights just because it's moral. Unfortunately...especially the country I was born in...bad blood doesn't make for good bedfellows and all of the leaders of the world are bed fellows.
