My Republican buddy saw Obama today and they both did the fist jab
He was in Manitowoc, Wisconsin at Orion when Obama spoke and got up in the greeting line and when Barack came by said "give me a fist!" and Barack complied. My buddy laughed and Barack looked back at him smiling as he continued down the line.

I thought it was funny as hell. He said that Barack looked at him thinking "damn, that's a cool dude..."

My friend is a moderate Republican and was impressed with seeing Obama, which was his first time. Who knows what will happen... If anything, Barack is a good sport to all those that he sees in the greeting line.

As one who has seen him and met our President, I would highly recommend anyone to check him out when he's in your town.

7. My husband met Clinton.
He got it, but then again, he gladly voted for the guy. They had a nice little discussion about my husband's necktie which Clinton liked (given as a gift by my conservative FiL).

8. The first time I met Obama (2006) I called him out for his Lieberman endorsement
it was at a book signing in Denver, and after I gave him my two cents he totally charmed me.
