Obama rebuked Pundits and Bloggers on the Left?!

I have been watching a few of the shows on MSNBC. On Countdown, Rachel Maddow, and Hardball---they all had leftist pundits on their shows.

What is the meme that the left pundits (or bloggers) spreading on cable television? Why do I ask? They keep saying things like, "Obama gave a rebuke to leftist bloggers." Where did Obama do that? Obama basically shotdown BOTH pundits and bloggers from the Left and the Right who are running on something but without much information.

Why, in relation to this situation, do they make it seem as though they were in some way Obama targeted them in his speech? They say Obama was ABOVE politics and then in the same breath claim that he in some way targeted them in his speech.


I don't get it. We already know where those on the Right stand. I'm not wasting my time with them. But there's a level of pettiness here. I heard nothing, absolutely nothing, from Obama's speech that in some way attacked the Left. It's very irritating.

"Obama never seems so much more of a President except for when he rebukes those on the left." <----Or something near to that. Can someone point to me where in the speech Obama refers to the Let in any way shape or form. I think this is one of those attacks I've been seeing by pundits and bloggers on the left that hold no merit or substance but to just find ways to discredit the President.
