Every White House correspondent that asks for Obama reaction to Palin statement
should lose their credentials to the White House. Way to many questions this morning to Gibbs were about Palin or the Presidents reaction to her mouth. Or not but if I was Gibbs I would not be so polite about those questions.

1. I just saw on MSNBC -- Comparing the Speeches: Obama and Palin --
I thought WTF? Like they're in the same league? Pissed me off. Obama spoke to help heal the country and encourage tolerance, Palin's objective, as always, was to paint herself as the victim and use it as a PR opportunity. That woman is despicable.

WHO is she, anyway? Have there been any other non-office holders given this kind of publicity and stature? I mean, how is she the same in stature to POTUS? Were any Democratic office-holders and/or activists given such a huge honking platform while Bush was in office? The most publicity any non-POTUS officeholder ever got while Bush was in office was during their "response" to the State of the Union Address.

:wtf:
:banghead:

4. I didn't see Gibbs's presser this morning, but I was thinking wouldn't it be cool
if, when asked, he said "We haven't seen the speech." Press: "Why not?" Gibbs: "Why? We're not interested in what she has to say? Next question." :7

6. That WOULD be nice
However, I guess that, given the (surprising) amount of publicity and support she gets, it would be hard for them to simply ignore her completely. I'm sure that they're taking notes if she decides to run in 2012.

5. The MSM is under the delusion that she will be the 2012 (R) nominee for Pres
If she does indeed end up being that person, she'll be the first with a (failed) reality tv show under her belt.

7. She'll be the "First" in a lot of ways
Failed VP nominee (who didn't even really know what the VP does), former governor who quit halfway through her FIRST term under a cloud of ethical concerns and for other reasons none of us may ever know, failed reality tv star, not able to name a single magazine/newspaper she reads, somebody who has no real ideas or policy prescriptions, just a bunch of empty phrases and bromides. I could go on but..............

8. Why don't we just ask what Obama thought of Kate Gosselin's statement on what happened
To me that is what Sarah Palin is - a TV personality.

10. This is what progressives should be doing - pointing out the obvious...
Palin is a TV personality and a bit of a novelty act.

She was mayor of a small town and couldn't even last 2 years as Governor of a state with one of the smallest populations.

Sure she ran on the VP ticket but lets face it, if McCain had a shot of winning 2 years ago, Palin would have never been picked. He was a last ditch effort to attract women voters in light of the fact that we had the first African American running for President.

She is not someone of importance we need to turn to when our country is in a time of trouble.
