Obama gives Ben Quayle a Ride
Congressman Ben Quayle may think Barack Obama is "the worst president in history," but he's apparently still good for a lift.

Quayle was among several lawmakers who hitched a ride from Washington to Tucson aboard Air Force One with Obama in order to attend a memorial service for those killed in Saturday's shooting rampage.

Quayle, as you may recall, ran a TV ad during his campaign where he declared Obama to be the "worst president in history."

_______

Practicing what he preaches... President Obama

3. I thought the comment made by "vic" underneath the article was spot on
Edited on Thu Jan-13-11 10:58 AM by mtnsnake
vic: This son of the worst Vice President in history was lucky to get elected
especially after running that stupid ad. I hope he is smart enough to
realize now that he should watch himself, tone it down and make some
better choices for the next two years. That said, I hope the fool was totally
embarrassed today and had a very uncomfortable ride.

6. Obama cracks me up
Back in late '07 I was investigating Obama via different articles about him that included tidbits from people who knew him and had worked with him. The comments from republicans mirrored that of the OP.

There's no way to get around it. President Obama is simply a outstanding human being.

I remember, during the election, countless times when I wished that he would HIT BACK at his opponents when they threw manure in his face. As usual, and more times than not...he would ignore the poop and, again, more times than not, just keep on truckin or make jokes about what was said about him....literally wiping it off his shoulder.

Remember the Obama/McCain debates? There would be McCain...red-faced in fury...completely lacking composure after a litany of vitriol spewed from within. He could barely walk across the stage after the debate. And there would be Obama, sauntering across the stage...smile on his face...hand held out for shaking.

Obama just makes me laugh and smile.

11. I swear, we have a president who behaves more like a Christian, turning the other cheek,
than any Repuke, Rethug, or Teabagger that exists.
