notably, they cheered most loudly for:

hearing that Gabby Giffords had just opened her eyes for the first time
Obama speaking about Christina Greene
Obama speaking about the heroes that helped disarm the gunman


DC Punditry is so worthless, I honestly would watch the news more but for those blathering experts on nothing going on and on about how I'm supposed to feel.
