Giving extremists a pass.

It's apparent in ways both obvious and subtle, that the violent verbiage - our violent culture as a whole, which Palin glorifies in her show and persona, toting rifles and spouting gun metaphors left and right - spawned this latest act of domestic terrorism. Everyone has been warning of this threat since it reared its ugly head and expanded with Obama's election and the rise of the tea party, and now it has come to pass. How much more clear-eyed were we then, than now? I wish people would stop being so politically correct and pretending it ain't so.

Here are some of the most obvious manifestations:

1) Giffords herself warned of this last Spring, as she was placed under a rifle scope on Palin's map
2) people wearing the t-shirt about the tree of liberty needing the blood of tyrants to be spilled
3) Ailes tells Fox to turn down rhetoric
4) Secret Service reports threats against politicians up as much as 300% with Obama's election

I know we can all add more.

Seems the pendulum is now swinging the other way. But step back and realize the truth. I think Sheriff Dupnick hit it right on, the 1st day. He spoke from the gut and experience.
