New GOP talking point. Beware!!
Pretending to be fiscally conservative, they want to "roll back spending to 2008 levels". This is a plot for not funding the president's health care program and for not funding new regulatory law while sounding responsible. Beware!! You will start hearing this phrase a lot, and the Dems better start now to counter it with the facts and an alternative plan.

4. In his last program, Tweety had a very serious Message for
the Democrats(on the Hill).

Referencing the fact that the Democrats have used as
real strategy in the past: Let the Republicans put
out their recommendation on any issue and the Democrats
would push back. Yes, this has been their losing strategy.

Tweety says the Democrats (if they have any chance) must
go on the Offense and put up strong Defense of their
Programs and legislation.

It they keep up the old strategy, they are permitting
Republicans to set the agenda and therefore win the
argument.

7. That's right!!
As I write here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x109284, the Democrats and the Obama Administration need to come up with a better marketing strategy, or the Democrats will lose big in 2012.

We are already faced with the mega-corporations and Wall Street funneling billions of dollars into the electoral system targeted at Republicans. We are also faced with a looming unemployment rate. Just today, it's being reported that millions are giving up on finding a job. Businesses are deliberately sitting on money rather than hiring so that people blame Obama and the Democrats. In addition to that, a broken, recalcitrant Senate and a House that is now controlled by Republicans hellbent on investigations rather than governing.

Democrats need to fight or else we've already lost!

9. Lol. My thoughts exactly.
Lately I've been having a real hard time believing that the incompetence of the Dems on messaging is an accident.
