1. Edited to add Scott Brown

Apparently he knows he has no chance of winning his re-election- that or he is catering to the tea party.

4. At least some bloggers are giving him grief
Not that Brown makes any more sense than he usually does.

http://bostonist.com/2010/11/18/scott_brown_vs_john_kerry_part_deux.php

Senators Scott Brown and John Kerry are disagreeing once again. First it was on nukes. Now, it's pay equity for women.

Brown joined every Republican and one Democrat to support a filibuster of the Paycheck Fairness Act by a 58--41 vote. The Senate requires 60 votes to stop a filibuster. Kerry supports the Act.

Brown said the bill places a burden on businesses eventhough he supports "equal pay for equal work." The act limits the acceptable reasons to pay men more than women for the same work. He said companies that discriminate against women "should be prosecuted" through the Equal Pay Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. We know that won't cost businesses a thing.

In other words: If Ayla Brown makes less at CBS than Luke Russert does at MSNBC, daddy is okay with it.

5. When he tells the public that his daughters are available.
It doesn't suggest that he holds females in high regard.

6. My female senator voted against it.
Not surprising that Senator Breck Girl voted against it.

Conservatives hate women. Women conservatives don't want women to have equal rights or the right to choose.

7. It's not amazing to me that those senators voted against it. They are all republicans-
yes, even Nelson.
