Top governors turn against Michael Steele
(too bad, Steele provided a lot of laughs and has nearly destroyed the RNC)

SAN DIEGO – Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele’s prospects for a second term dimmed Wednesday as Republicans went public with their concerns about the committee’s fundraising and two prominent governors indicated a preference for new leadership atop the party.

Asked in an interview at the Republican Governors Association (RGA) meeting here if there should be a new chairman of the party, Mississippi Gov. and outgoing RGA Chairman Haley Barbour flatly said: “Yes.”

So although Steele turned out to be a gift that kept on giving he could have been the next coming of Lincoln (yea, yea i know Lincoln was for the people and Repubs are for the super rich and corporations) and they'd still turn against him because 2012 is around the corner and they can smell obama's blood in the water...they are done with there puppet Steele.

It was fun while it lasted.

2. I am no fan of Mr. Steele, but he did
just what his owners told him to do and now they can get rid of him. Typical Republicanism.

It's always about the money with the Pugs. Didn't Karl Rove create American Crossroads so that Republican donors wouldn't have to trust the black guy at the RNC with their money?
