I bet the backlash against the teasters starts with the SOTU. I bet they try to shout him down, that they boo when he enters the hall, that they talk amongst themselves during his speech and they may even hurl their pencils (or shoes) at him. It'll be a spectacle that the public will be absolutely disgusted with the teasters for. Boehner might even refuse to introduce the President properly.

Remember these people have ZERO respect for the democratically elected President of the United States. They think he's a Kenyan nazi. They may even shout that at him during the SOTU.

How do you think the fascists will handle the first SOTU? It will be a spectacle on their part, that's for sure.

1. After last year, I'm dreading it. The level of disrespect is appalling.

2. Yep we shall see if the media calls them on it.
They did go after Joe Wilson to a degree in 2009.

I expect him to show disrespectful behavior again.

Seriously, Boehner and McConnell dont roll like that .... I'd imagine they'll issue stern warnings to their caucuses before the eventing's address.

7. Joe Wilson got called on the carpet immediately last year...
... and told to apologize. And he did.

Esp. after today's polling, GOP knows full well (although they wont admit it) that no one likes them either. Trust me, everyone will be on their Ps & Qs that night.

10. They will do nothing of the sort.
After Wilson's abrupt comment during last year's SOTU they all had a lecture on how to comport themselves. The new batch of Congress critters will be talked to before next year's SOTU. They will not make the same mistake twice.

As for Boehner, he's been around long enough to know how things get done and won't shoot himself in the foot like Gingrich did back in the 90s.

;-)

11. I do not think they will be so dramatic
behind the scene they will be fighting over what disrespectful gag they will pull(eg the empty "budget" book waving" and I predict actual literal blood drawn fighting over which specific predesignated rep's will get to be disruptors (eg "You lie" Wilson).

But they will otherwise remain fairly stoic. Because they aint the ones in power, and they know it. Mess up too bad, draw that public backlash, and their corporate masters, who's opinions they actually value, will punish them. They will be on a tight leash.
