Whitehouse CAVES IN on Bush tax cuts
What else is new they can't even take the advantage of a winning issue most American people are in favor of letting them expire. There caving in just like they did with the Public Option when the majority of Americans were in favor of it. It seems we don't have a say in any issue as the people anymore. Some Du'ers will get mad at me for blasting Obama for this I don't care this is RIDICULES!!! he will cave in with the health care to MARK MY WORD http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/10/white-house-gives-in-on-bush-tax-cuts_n_781992.html

1. that's exactly right and it was fast and apparently WITHOUT negotiation
just lock, stock and barrel capitulation.

and you, me and future generations will pay for this (and it was done on our behalf without a fight).

we will pay through increased debtload, through reduced expenditures in other programs, and future generations will pay in the same way.

:grr:

4. If that is true, it is not a cave in, it is something else.

Here is how it works, the question is 'is any bad situation the same as any other?' At some point things are not acceptable. In other words you can't compromise away everything.

On the O'Donnell show he said that without blue dogs the Democrats can't get things done, and criticized the position of having Democrats support their ideals.

That is because he does not think the same things are unacceptable, same with many in many sectors. Basically there are groups that think consolidated money is acceptable. And those people are willing to let money make decisions for them.

Basically there is a strain that does not go hard after the false control of consolidated wealth, including media and global money organizations. So as long as you don't go after that group, then they keep the politics on topics like social issues money does not care about.

Basically you either choose to give power to a few people that can not show they deserve it or earn it, or you say such compromises on economic issues are unacceptable.

So if you do not compromise on those issues you end up with a smaller group with less power. However that is OK if they stand for what is correct, because eventually they will be shown correct, and then when people do make a change, those groups will regain influence.

Basically there is three ways to fix things

Make people do it, that is the sword, and something I avoid.

Give those that are wrong the power, and they will destroy enough that eventually they will turn on themselves, or wake enough people, some that do use the sword, buy mostly those that start paying attention.

Or you correct it. If people are not willing to correct it, then it goes down in flames. The key there is to know that anything unacceptable is the same as anything else unacceptable, that way someone can not get you to do wrong by threatening to do greater wrong if you don't, a common ploy. Basically let them show what they are, don't join in with them, and wait till they implode, unfortunately their ways take alot of innocent people into hardship by doing that, but that is their choice.

The counter argument to that is that people will forget, and as long as control is gradual they can get away with it like a conditioning, however from my observation what they are up against is not going to get old or tired, or just go away, so really they are not going to be able to outlast them.

Side note, I am still due beer and travel money and many experiences. :)

Funny side note, some rich people have said that if you give poor people money, they just spend it, they don't invest or save. They use the guy that wins a lottery and spends his winnings. Think about it, maybe 'spending it' is what they are suppose to do to raise demand over production again someday.

Should play some music, been listening to some songs for a few days. Funny thing, all these songs make lots of sense, the ways some people think things should be governed, not so much :)

Molly Hatchet: Flirtin With Disaster
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhhtRxqSrys

I'm travelin' down the road and I'm flirtin' with disaster
I've got the pedal to the floor and my life is running faster
I'm outta money outta hope it looks like self destruction
Well how much more can we take with all of this corruption

We're flirtin' with disaster, ya'll know what I mean
And the way we run our lives it makes no sense to me
I don't know about yourself or what you wanna to be, yeah
When we gamble with our time we choose our destiny

I'm travelin' down that lonesome road.
Feel like I'm draggin a heavy load.
Yet I've tried to turn my head away,
Feel about the same most every day
You know what I'm talkin about man

Speeding down the fast lane and honey we're playin' from town to town
The boys and I been burnin' it up and honey can't seem to slow it down
I got the pedal to the floor our lives are runnin' faster,
We got our sights set straight ahead but I ain't sure what we're after

We're flirtin' with disaster ya'll damn sure know what I mean.
You know the way we run our lives it makes no sense to me
I don't know about yourself or what you plan to be, yeah
When we gamble with our time we choose our destiny

Yeah! We're travelin' down that lonesome road.
Feel like I'm dragging a heavy load.
Though I try to turn my head away,
I'm flirtin' with disaster every day.
And you are too baby, Ha ha ha ha ha
It ain't for everybody, Oh come on man

Guitar solo

We're flirtin' with disaster man ya'll know what I mean
You know the way we run our lives it makes no sense to me
I don't know about yourself or what you plan to be
When we gamble with our time we choose our destiny

Yeah! We're travelin' down this lonesome road.
Feel like I'm dragging a heavy load.
Though I try to turn my head away, Bop mm bop bop yeah
We're flirtin' with disaster every day.

5. He may have just lost his second term.
Where does he think the money is going to come from? What he probably did was cut a deal. You give me 50,000 jobs, I'll give you back 5 Billion in Taxes?

Obama Didn't Fold--- More Huffington Crap!

by whamfan Thu Nov 11, 2010 at 03:20:17 AM PST

According to a recommended diary, President Obama "folded" on tax cuts. He is apparently going to allow tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans to be permanently extended. This would be very big news (and contradict what he said in his Weekly Radio Address just a week or two ago). And it would be extremely depressing.

Since this is such big news, I immediately looked for ANY sources other than Huffington Post discussing this shocking development. I found NONE. Not the New York Times. Not CNN. Not even Talking Points Memo. Even a Google News search found ONE internet link on this topic---Huffington Post. Hmm, real interesting. The President makes a major decision on a key issue, and no one except Huffington Post even discusses it. There are two possible reasons for that:

1. Every other newspaper, news network or internet news source chooses to ignore it (which seems unlikely, especially in the internet area of 24-hour news and instant information) or

2. Other news sources view an informal chat with a presidential advisor as NOT being indicative of the Commander-in-Chief's decision.

more at the link, if you haven't jumped off a bridge or moved to the Netherlands yet. You folks are flipping out and it's not helping.

Poll:
Is the Huffington Post Correct that President Obama has "Folded" on Tax Cuts?
Yes, they broke the story that every other news source chooses to ignore

16. Were you guys honestly surprised?
Obama is nothing but a DINO now.

He's suffering from Clinton Syndrome: A loss = abandon your principles and compromise with the Republicrats.

I wish the American people had a president with more of a spine. He's going to give EVERYTHING to the Republicrats at this rate.

I hope a REAL progressive emerges in 2012 and somehow makes a successful challenge against DINObama.
