OUCH!!! Fox News On Christine O'Donnell: 'No Plans To Hire Her'
I knew this the moment she won her nomination. No way Fox would touch this one with a 10 foot poll. The moment that Karl Rove bashed her on the night of her primaries was the moment her Faux News career would come to a screeching halt.

Fox News On Christine O'Donnell: 'No Plans To Hire Her'
Shortly after Republican Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell lost her race for the Senate from Delaware, media-watchers began speculating that she might follow Sarah Palin's path and become a Fox News contributor.

"O'Donnell would be latest case that a losing candidate can have more media juice (Palin 2.0). Could be smart for Fox to sign her," New York Magazine's Gabriel Sherman tweeted.

"Fox will TOTALLY sign her - if they haven't already," Mediaite's Rachel Sklar chimed in.

But Fox News says it isn't happening.

The network told Mediaite it has "no plans to hire her."

13. Aren't we punished enough with Christie?
I absolutely can't believe that he decided to cancel the tunnel project that was needed. He also lost us education money that he could have had - if he just submitted the proposal already written by the Corzine people.

I was going to say - No way - we don't want her back! - but thought I first had to make the case that we already were suffering.

What I wonder is whether, now that the election is over is whether someone will indict her for all the misuses of campaign funds.

30. Christie wants that tunnel project to be his 'Bridge to Nowhere' moment
Except this tunnel was connecting two very populated areas, would have helped ease up heavy congestion and would have created hundreds of jobs.

35. Exactly - NYC is the opposite of "nowhere"
Christie, though, is not all that perceptive. I still think it hilarious that he publicly spoke of wanting Bruce Springsteen for his inaugural ball. This after he wrote a pathetic column in 2004 that complained that Springsteen should not have done the get out the vote tours for Kerry, because he had Republican fans too. Though he speaks of having gone to over 100 Springsteen concerts, I wonder if he ever listened to the lyrics.

I suspect that Christie really will have a repeat of his first (and only previous) elected office. He was a Morris county freeholder - and when time came for reelection, his three Republican peers recruited another Republican to run with them as a ticket. He lost.

42. I believe her only political experience with elected office
Is losing a bid for that seat. Therefore, the thing she is most qualified to do is to be the Republican candidate for that seat.

43. now that 2010 elections are over,
I'm curious to know what Pristine does with remaining campaign contributions she received, if any.

Perhaps, in an attempt to keep her from running as a Republican again, the Delaware GOP will keep an eye on her with hopes they catch her using it to pay her rent with it.

It's not like they need any more really stupid people on their payroll, after Hannity, BecKKK, Megyn Kelly, and the entire morning show.

16. Looking at this seriously.....
I understand where FOX News is coming from here.

O'Donnell would likely be a perfect fit for them as far as their audience is concerned.

However, if you hire a recent candidate that recently openly bragged how one of your employees was in her back pocket I can't imagine how you don't avoid having to answer some serious questions.

17. Of course Fox isn't going to hire her!
They hire bimbo's, tempting sluts, women who inspire carnal imaginations and possibilities, to keep the angry white male salavating at the possibility of promiscuous promises and winks. She's shut them down and that block of ice inspires little in the way of possibilities.

He pretty much predicted the Dems would keep the Senate the night O'Donnell won the primaries, calling her 'too nutty'

26. You almost have to feel bad for Christine.
I mean, sure, Sarah Palin is dumb as a brick, but she's at least got a sort of psychopathic malevolence that allows her to be an effective con artist, much like Bush. O'Donnell has none of that. She's just a run-of-the-mill idiot, and she's going to be chewed up and spit out by the exact same people that put her in the position she's in today.

Of course, notice I said you "almost" have to feel bad for her.

36. Perhaps all the hubbub about Fox probably going to hire O'Donnell made them sheepish.
Rachel Maddow also predicted, on air, that O'Donnell would get a Fox show. I suspect the same thing may have happened with Fox's much-speculated-on plans to replace Greta Van with Megyn Kelly in the 10pm EST slot. There's a motive for Fox not to fulfill predictions, thereby enabling people to say, "Ha ha, we knew it; that's how Fox is."

37. I just think Karl Rove will do everything in his power to keep O'Donnell out of Fox
He made it known from the second O'Donnell won her primary that she (O'Donnell) was a nut job and would cost the GOP the senate.

Karl Rove was right. Not only did her nuttiness hurt the state of Delaware but also made voters in Colorado and Nevada think twice about their nutty candidates.

Karl alot of sway with Fox News - as long as he is there I doubt O'Donnell will be.
