2. Well...

We were driving along, whistling and happy and employed. Then along came that long drink of water named Dubya and drove us over the hill. The weeds and limbs were slapping the windows of the car as it careened over the hill. Eveybody yelling and encouraging others to hold on tight as it flipped once, then twice...flashing in our minds was the thought of water. But on the second flip, it landed on its wheels. A second for the realization, then a scramble to get out of the wreck before it burst into flames.

Then someone said:

"Quick! Hide the weed!"

"But I'm bleeding, I said..."

"Too bad", someone said, "We all got to sacrifice."
