Senator Dorgan is a perfect example of Democratic schizophrenia

Everyone was up in arms about Democratic attempts to curb women's rights when the Stupak amendment emerged. The spin: Obama and the Democrats threw women under a bus.

Then Nelson mirrored Stupak in the Senate and Dorgan voted against tabling the amendment (IOW, he voted to allow the bill to proceed).

The amendment was tabled.

Within a day, drug re-importation becomes the issue, and Dorgan is a hero. The spin: Obama doesn't support it.
