Never in my life have I seen politicians with so much fear in their eyes. They are afraid of losing their "jobs". Their jobs are no longer to represent the people, win or lose. Their job is to protect their job at all costs.

They have de-legitimized representative government. It no longer works for the people. It works for the politicians.

As soon as the water stops boiling, they will pass another pay increase for themselves. It is automatic. It is not an extra .25 cents or even a dollar raise. It is thousands of dollars each year. And the voters have nothing to say about it.

They fear losing these coveted positions. Few really care what you think or if you live or die. They are into survival mode. This is about them, not about you.
