Yeah I know it's Zogby but it is yet another poll pointing in the same direction.

Zogby Interactive: Democrats Take One-Point Lead In Congressional Generic Ballot; Obama Approval Goes Up to 49%

Increase in Support from Party Base Helping Dem Candidates

UTICA, New York - Democrats have taken a one percentage point lead over Republicans on which party's candidate voters intend to choose in the Congressional election; and President Barack Obama's approval rating has increased to 49%.

These results from a Zogby Interactive poll conducted from Sept. 17-20 are the first since mid-May that found the Democrats ahead in the Congressional generic ballot question. In an interactive poll conducted from Sept. 10-14, Republicans held a 47%-41% lead.

1. PPP said a while back...
That in almost all special elections this year, the enthusiasm gap narrowed in the final days before the election. Hopefully the same will happen for the midterms.

2. This is getting ridiculous
This is like the 10th poll in the last 2 weeks showing Obama and the dems numbers improving, exactly how much good news do we need to get before the media acknowledges it?

3. First the media has to bring those poll numbers back down again.....
then they will talk about how the Dem numbers went down.

That's why they have to "limit" Obama's media exposure.....
and only show 5 minutes of anything, and then break in
to explain it to us.....and then they move on.

4. The media never focuses on good poll numbers.
They haven't since Obama took office. They only reported his numbers when they dropped.

The reality is, Pres. Obama's numbers have been pretty fluid for a year. They generally bounce from 45-50%. It's been like that since late 2009 and more importantly, since January.

Yet the media will only report when it dips. So they'll say his numbers are dropping when they go from 47 to maybe 43% (as Gallup had it, I believe once).

Then when they bounce back and he climbs to 45% or 47%, they don't report on it. However, then his numbers will shift AGAIN and they'll report his numbers have, once again, dropped.

Though they don't inform the viewer they had risen to a respectable number.

So people who don't poll watch start believing Pres. Obama's numbers are at a record low because all they're being told is that his numbers are dropping, dropping, dropping.

They never tell us when they rise back to his typical number - only when they fall.
