NY Calling It For Another Bagger? Oh my!
Just talked to a friend from NY; seems Paladino is leading...

http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/article/20100914/NEWS01/100914038/Very-early-returns-show-Paladino-ahead-of-Lazio-for-GOP-nod

Very early returns show Paladino ahead of Lazio for GOP nod

September 14, 2010

With 6 percent of the state precincts reporting, early returns show Carl Paladino ahead of Rick Lazio in the gubernatorial race with 32,703 votes to Lazio's 11,799. The two are battling it out for November's GOP line.

Lazio is a former U.S. House representative from Suffolk County while Paladino is a Buffalo businessman.

In Dutchess County, with 9 of the 159 precincts reporting, Paladino has a narrower lead with 234 votes to Lazio's 144.

The winner of the Lazio-Paladino primary will face Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Cuomo in November. Cuomo, the current attorney general, has a commanding lead against either Lazio or Paladino, polls have shown.

14. She hired him as attorney. The brother didn't even look like he wanted to be there.
He seemed more apolitical. Cute, but not my cup of tea working for a teabagger.

It won't matter though Andrew Cumoro will beat him.He may well In the teaparty but you need more than them to win a general election.

9. No way!
Your former boss? :wow:

I find it interesting he hasn't had to campaign, unless he is in NY and I'm not privy to it. I don't even know what he sounds like!

I kind of like that, but I hope he has the NY chutzpa to do it if needed. He seems live a very savvy guy (I don't like his girlfriend; she's skinny, attractive, and can cook :eyes: )

Ha!

13. Yep. He's the former Secretary of HUD (U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development)
Andy Cuomo does not play! He doesn't even have to campaign. That's how easy it'll be for him... :)

10. The numbers in the upstate counties are very glaring
Paladino is walloping Lazio by double digits, Paladino was getting 93% in Erie County.
