I knew you knew, but I am monitoring a couple of local races, so I did not think it through.

3. It totally pissed me off that local stations were playing this up like she had a remote chance
Stupid TV stations trying to make a buck off the controversy of her moronic questions.

5. As it stands, it also seems that the GOP preferred ethical lapses to financial lapses
Perry is way ahead of Malone in the 10th district.

11. That reminds me--do we have a candidate who can win that race?
I don't want to lose Delahunt's seat.

14. Last time I looked, it was still undecided between Keating and O'Leary.
'Last time I looked, Keating was slightly ahead, but nothing decisive. I am not familiar with this part of the state, so I dont know who is the best match.

16. Delahunt represented what I think was perhaps the most conservative district

in MA--so it worries me.

Also, here's a story: In the MA-1, the guy running against John Olver was on the road next to Friendly's in Ware WAVING HIS OWN FUCKING CAMPAIGN SIGNS.

He has so little money after blowing it all on campaign signs that he couldn't get a single employee or even a volunteer to wave a sign for him. Pathetic.

10. So much for Miss Dining Room Table!!!
Edited on Tue Sep-14-10 09:18 PM by backscatter712

Yes, she was the crazy person in Frank's town hall last year during the health care brouhaha that held up pictures of Obama with a Hitler moustache, that Frank said was like having a conversation with a dining-room table!

18. As a bit of historical interest, this is the district "Gerrymandering" was named after
Nothing against Frank (he's one of our better leaders) I just think that's interesting. There's a plaque on Chauncy street in downtown Boston (not in the district) to the history of it. Only in New England...

20. I can't believe she got even 19%
Edited on Wed Sep-15-10 12:06 AM by karynnj
I watched their debate on line and she is as weird as she seemed. (Frank was incredibly patient with her given the nonsense she said) It is pretty weird to run as a Democrat, claiming Obama needed to go. She also wanted to colonize Mars, thought technology could find a way to get there in a week, and wanted to grow the western economy by both cooling it and getting it water by transporting ice from Alaska to the SW where it was needed.

She also complained that Frank's office did not listen to the great economic advice from Lyndon LaRouche.

I guess the 19% is the district ABF Democratic vote - where anybody was taken to the extreme.
