Mongiardo endorses Conway for U.S. Senate
FRANKFORT — Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo released a statement Wednesday announcing his support for fellow Democrat Jack Conway for the U.S. Senate.

Mongiardo, who lost to Conway in a close election in the May Democratic primary, had been reluctant to endorse Conway, saying he was expecting help from the Conway campaign with his campaign debt.

Mongiardo did not address the money issue in his statement, but his campaign spokesman, Kim Geveden, said in an interview that Mongiardo was not given or offered any money by Conway, the Conway camp or anyone else for the endorsement.

1. Conway's a blazing liberal?
at least according to the comment section.

Me, I'm sending him some money via Al Franken's PAC.

2. No, not really,
but tenfold better than dullard, carpetbagging and just plain ignorant Paul. Jack has expressed he is for extending Bush's, by reconciliation, tax cuts because of the economy. BTW RE: Mongiardo, it took your whiney ass long enough. Party Unity would help.

3. Depending on who you are talking to McCain was a liberal. It doesn't mean much
Mongiardo sucks so bad that I doubt I'd be able to keep myself from writing in even with Randroid on the ballot.
