Shocking! Rasmussen gives Boxer 7-point lead in CA Senate/ Obama approval 57%
California

2010 Senate
49% Boxer, 42% Fiorina (chart)

Favorable / Unfavorable
Barbara Boxer: 49 / 47 (chart)
Carly Fiorina: 48 / 41

Job Approval / Disapproval
Pres. Obama: 57 / 42 (chart)
Gov. Schwarzenegger: 28 / 71 (chart)

Obama might actually be of some help to Brown and Boxer in CA. Arnold's numbers are in the dumpster.

1. this sounds more accurate to me than yesterday's "dead heat" polls
And Carly's unfavorables should continue to rise the more people learn about her, and listen to her. .

5. I totally agree. They tell us what they want us to believe.
That way they can manipulate the vote and say the polls told us so.

2. Rasmussen is a notorious manipulater of polls
He would only show a dem lead to excite the far right.
I don't doubt that Boxer and Obama show positive poll numbers but I always assume Rasmussen to be a few points off the spread.

21. Don't assume. Compare every poll from this year and he's always 2-5 points off.
Of course, it's always in favor of the Republican.

Your assumption is correct in this case.

23. Rassmussen doesn't poll cell phone or poll youth 18-21
You are right they do manipulate polls, but point to their accuracy in Presidential polls as a way to lay claim to their legitimacy.

3. Meg and Carly can rescue the California economy
when they dump their entire fortunes into their futile attempts to gain public office.

6. Go Barbara , go Jerry!

They have a horrible commercial on now about Jerry Brown ~ I love him but he needs to get front and center.

Miss Ebay that didn't vote in 28 elections is a horror story.

PLEASE don't let that woman bit my hero Jery.

I'm supporting Jerry 100% and everyone I know is too

12. I lived in CA when he
was Gov. I just loved him. Then he was gone and we were stuck with...I think it was Pete Wilson (the uncle of Plume's husband!!!) CA just wasn't the same w/o Jerry leading the way.

15. Brown said he will pick it up in September.
I heard him on the radio last month talking about the campaign. Brown is a professional and smart politician. His method of operation is letting Nut Meg throw away all her money and reveal her entire campaign strategy, early on. Then, step in during the last couple of months, and walk away with the election. If Nut Meg loses her temper during one of the debates... she's toast.

17. I'm not in CA so I don't know....
but to me, I think it's smart to wait until after Labor Day to start the onslaught of ads. His name and family legacy is well known to people in CA. Meg's name...maybe not so much so she might just be advertising to get her name out there.

In fact, I can't remember her last name. Of course, I never used ebay either.

8. So next poll will show an enormous drop and he can trumpet that meme. He inflates
his numbers so when he drops them the disparity is even more glaring. These polls are either always worthless or always accurate. Having it both ways is playing into his manipulations.

And, it's not to help the Democrats.

13. If Ras says 7 it's more like 12 or 13.
And that probably means Obama's over 60+ approval there as well.

16. The State of California has Barbara Boxer, which
should make every other state pretty jealous.

She's wonderful.

I hope she smashes Fiorina by a huge percentage.

It sure doesn't look as if Arnold's doing all that well these days.

25. Hey YvonneCa! Hi and happy summertime.
Senator Boxer makes it work. I've been impressed with her for ages.

I don't think Carly Fiorina is fit to clean Boxer's mud flaps.
