The Republican Blueprint for Success
1. Republicans reflexively oppose, obstruct and smear any policy put forth by the president and the Democrats, especially via the senate filibuster, forcing them to cater to the most conservative of their caucus to get anything passed at all;

2. when the policies passed are not as good as we would want or don't happen at all, the electorate, including members of the left, blame the Democrats because "they're in charge" even though the Republicans refuse to govern in good faith and, as a matter of course, throw frustrating procedural hurdles at the Democrats;

3. turnout for Democrats is suppressed in the next election;

4. Republicans gain a majority in one or both houses;

5. No beneficial policy is passed for the rest of Obama's presidency as he has to dodge impeachment investigations based on his alleged "ineligibility" to be president;

6. The strategy, because it worked so well, is filed away for the next time Democrats control the White House and both houses of Congress.

1. my part?
yes, I live with extreme pain while I save enough money to afford medical treatment.
If the GOP take over the govt the will do it without my help.
Ditto if the DLC holds on to the govt.

I really don't care about much except reducing my physical pain. I could have no pain if I had access to medical treatment.
