What you all want the President to do to appease you? Even Dems

are opposing him? What you all want the President to do? Be a dictator! No matter what he does, it will never appease some people!

Only one grouse I have, frick bipartisan ship! Mr. President, they will never work with you, just ignore them and stick to what you campaigned on!

1. I think since the healthcare debate the President has not pushed bipartisanship.

The only people I see really trying to work with repubs are Dems on specific committees. But not the President. If you look at all the issues since the health care debate, you'll notice that Obama hasn't mentioned anything about bipartisanship unless a bill or some such had a repub on it. But it's not a push of his.

I have some issues that I care about most, but I'm giving him the full term to complete that. He's getting there since I care about LGBT rights and the war. Little by little he's meeting my demands on that so I'm fine. And I do notice the dictator thing...people seem to forget the role of Congress and why we have them in the first place.

When Bush was acting unilaterally people here went mad with anger. When Obama works with all the necessary powers people go mad with anger and some have said Bush did it. Ugh, some people scream for the rule of law and when the rule of government is fractured it's okay as long as it's for their cause. The hypocrisy is incredible.

that the president has no problem signing bills that pass without one Republican vote? I think he gets that Republicans are incorrigible, but he wants to make it absolutely clear whose fault the lack of bipartisanship is.

And this is why he had that mediating session that was in front of the cameras between repubs and dems on health care where he handed them their ass and the American people tuned in and a lot of people got a clue when they saw that. He clearly is using this as a crutch against the Republican and helped them in digging their own grave. I notice that mainly people here get angry over his actions. The sad thing I think many people don't get is that some of the appeasing that has been done hasn't even been for Repubs but actually for Blue Dog Dems who are borderline Repub and hold a lot of the same ideology as far as fiscal responsibility and government involvement in business structure. So we wouldn't have some of this drama if it wasn't for shady Dems.

13. Vab, me too have some issues with President Obama but I am sick

of the bashing against him. Even some Dems in the House and Senate are working against him! When Dems work against their own, then the constituents should vote them out and vote in people who are for the people!
