Rubio leading Crist in New Poll
the poll is Rasmussen so not sure how much to trust. anyone know of any other current polls ? can't stand the thought of Rubio winning.

<Rasmussen Reports released a poll on Thursday morning showing the U.S. Senate battle remains up for grabs between independent candidate Gov. Charlie Crist and former House Speaker Marco Rubio, the likely Republican nominee.

Rubio pulled 36 percent in the poll with Crist right behind at 34 percent. U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, who is facing a tough battle from billionaire investor Jeff Greene for the Democratic nomination, trailed behind with 15 percent. The poll found 14 percent of Florida voters were undecided. Last month, the poll had Rubio and Crist with 37 percent each with Meek at 15 percent.>

1. I don't trust Rass. at all, but if they say Crist is only behind by 2 pts, my guess is that Crist is
ladig by at least 2 pts or more. I don't want Rubio to win either, though I don't live in Fl so I can't do much to help.

4. How come when a rightwinger is ahead by two points, he "leads," but when a liberal
is ahead by two points, the headlines remind us it's a "virtual tie?"

(Rhetorical question...)

5. Rasmussen is to polling as Faux is to News...
Most likely massaged and manipulated to get the desired effect. Funny, it probably helps Crist more because it could scare more Democrats to abandon Meek.

7. This is about as high as Rubio will get... also local stations are putting the Repug spin
on the Special Session to ban drilling... calling it purely political.
