Please sign this petition: Tell CNN to stop echoing FOX News
I received a long email which said, in part:

FOX is up to its old race-baiting tricks. But this time, CNN is repeating FOX's distortions and taking them mainstream.

FOX is claiming that under President Obama, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is refusing to prosecute voting rights offenses when the victims are White and the perpetrators are Black.<1> It's a bogus story based on the allegations of one former Republican DOJ attorney, and it sidesteps a mountain of facts.<2>

On Tuesday, FOX complained that other news outlets weren't covering the story. The next day, CNN uncritically echoed FOX's distorted story, lending it mainstream credibility. We expect FOX to engage in this kind of race-baiting. But CNN should know better, and we need to hold them publicly accountable.

Click the link below to send a message to Jon Klein, head of CNN, demanding CNN stop running with half-baked, racially charged stories from FOX. And then please ask your friends and family to do the same:

9. CNN feels like it must copy Fox News in an attempt to match Fox's high ratings.
It's as simple as that. During most time periods Fox outrates CNN by 3-1 or better.

around. Then they hired that guy from RedState.com, Eric Erickson, and have turned HARD right. MSNBC beats CNN a lot, too.

if enough people do it, maybe CNN will change their ways. I won't hold my breath, though.

but they still need to know that many people are on to them and are aware of the Fox-wannabe farce they've become.

another edit: Jeez, I really am out of it today; just noticed someone above also used the term "Fox-wannabe"....

18. Another thing I hate is Anderson Cooper "Keeping Them Honest" while camping out
in Louisiana and interviewing every Republican day after day for hours. They always ask them what they wish the Federal govt. would do, what they'd tell or ask Obama if they could, etc. He never keeps Bobby Jindal honest or questions ANYTHING he does. :eyes:

25. It is very telling that Obama is against restoring the Fairness Doctrine.
Could it be that if we had a robust fairness doctrine in place, allowing both sides to get a fair hearing would actually be politically harmful to Obama? If we had the Fairness Doctrine, would the media continue to shill for Obama's failed Afghanistan policy, or might we also hear the other side of that?
