Republicans saying 'no' to everything will not work for them in November. Dean says people still want change and that Barack Obama is the one who can bring it.

He likes what President Obama is saying these days to draw the contrast between the two parties and thinks that if Obama keeps it up we will do well in November.

Thank you, Governor Dean!

5. He is right...
The republicans are playing to the nut wing of their party right now, the teabaggers and the crazies who listen to Rush and Beck. What I see is that they are alienating themselves from the moderate republicans, and any of the independents who really "DO" want to see change. The facts are that president Obama "has" made changes. They may not be what we all wanted to see, or they may be a lesser version of what many of us wanted, but he did get "real" changes made that would never have come to be if the republicans had won and McCain, and the moron from Alaska were in the WH now!

I also think that if the democrats and the president can keep on pointing out to the public what has been going on in the party of "NO", how they vote against anything the president wants, how they fight for the corporations and not for the people, it will make a big difference in November. The rational people of this country, no matter what party they are in, if any, will have to ask themselves if they really want to see the republicans back in charge. Do they want more of what we had under Bush? Do they want to see more jobs leave the country? Do they want to see tax cuts for the rich again, higher gas prices, less regulations on oil companies, wall street, and banks? And most of all the chance that if republicans took back congress and got back in the WH in 2012, there would be a chance of "MORE" wars in the middle east, especially Iran!

I could be wrong, but I just don't think most americans are that crazy! A minority of brain dead zombies who follow Rush and Beck, yes they are that crazy, but the majority I think have more sense. I do see a chance for republicans to gain some seats in both houses if democrats don't continue to go after them, put them on the defense and hammer them all the way to the elections, but if they take the lead and beat them at their own game any loses will be small!

8. I realize why Dean left the DNC--he didn't want to feel like a figurehead now that his party
is in power.

But damn me if I don't wish he'd stuck around.
